NOTES: (Time: 1105-1800. Bkground Sounds: Wind in exotic eucalyptus trees-noisy, Zosterops spp. faintly. Breeding Status: Territorial paired, breeding.) Male and female calls of a pair that were breeding--many of these calls and the close contact of the two are related to courtship. Female calls (and songs) are high "thin" calls. The male "plik" call is slow and fast form is uttered when he is close to or in company with his female. "Bill wipees" (on branches) can be heard after the "chew" call.
