I saw the flycatcher on Friday October 13 at 10:40 a.m. at Cove Island Park in Stamford. It was making short sallies for insects from low vegetation growing around a chain fence adjacent to a grassy playground. It landed on the ground twice. It pumped its tail while sitting on small low branches. My impression was of a small drab light gray flycatcher with two white wing stripes, a round head, and a prominent white eye ring.
