Observation details
Vireo seen from bridge over the creek. The bird perched almost motionless for about 10-15 minutes. It was mentioned that it might not be well. After posting pictures locally and much discussion, it was agreed (by some) that this was a Yellow-green vireo. Our field views were distant, making it difficult to identify the bird. Color (that we could see) seemed to match somewhat with Tennessee Warbler, though I noted a vireo-like bill. Further, the bird was seen in close proximity to a Yellow Warbler, in comparison with which it looked larger. Photos later showed much more detail and revealed the bird to certainly be a vireo. Photos Attached.
