Observation details
Obviously terrible photos, but they do at least show some of the bird's structure. Notably larger and stockier than RBGU in direct comparison, something I can't say about any other jaeger I have seen here. Very barrel chested with relatively large pale based bill.Central tail feathers observed through scope as the bird banked and spread tail. They were only slightly longer than adjacent rectrices and rounded. No rufous tones to plumage.
