NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial, breeding. Cover Density: Medium.) Drumming duets by two birds sitting opposite each other on low branch at c. 6 m. of high tree along Tamam Alam parking, at entrance of Nature Park, above dirty ditch (sewage). While drumming, both birds showed extended ear tufts. Always the same individual started the drumming. Both were also photographed (see Dutch Birding 1994). Other Behaviors: Mate, Court, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, Creek, Yard, Second-growth, Edge.
