Observation details
Located Female perched in eucalyptus tree next to nesting tree. Perched quietly for 25 minutes till small male flew in with prey item which was transferred to female. Female flew to another nearby tree and fed, joined by male who sat nearby. Chatter heard Female returned to eucalyptus tree whereas male joined by male, copulation observed. Pair then rested with Female flying off and commenced collecting nesting material [eucalyptus leaves ] and taking to nest. Male remained in perched position. Pair sat together for approx 20 mites till the female recommenced collecting nesting material, nil movement from male. Chatter heard
