Media notes

NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 24. Bulk reel: 429 Weather: Cloudy fair (after rain). a) No doubt same bird next day. Again, the bird was at the end of a song session. I recorded just one phrase of the natural song. Playback of it was sufficient to start bird singing again. Quality: 1. Level: +5. Turdus nudigenis sings in background. Then, five minutes later; then after more playback. Quality: 1. Level: +5. b) Half hour later, no further playback. Quality: 1. Level: 0. For some of the song during this interval, see Chelidoptera tenebrosa Cut 1). In this part song seems to be waning but bird is still "agitated" and gives "mild alarms.".
