NOTES: [These calls appear to represent the "chip" calls of BNA, where said to be "like the noise of a bicycle horn or a falsetto toot of a seventeenth-century trumpet..." A similar call is found in LNS #2855. Note that calls by the Porphyrula are interspersed among those of Geothlypis trichas (single calls by the gallinule are at 0:07, 0:09, 0:21, 0:24, 0:28, 0:30, 0:34, 0:37, and 0:41). Quality changed from 3 to 2-3, 2 (three good calls at 0:34-0:42) - CAM - 24 February 2005]. Habitat: Wetland, Freshwater.
