One individual, appeared to be a juvenile. Short tubular bill. Presented a "scaled" pattern to the brownish-grey upper parts with whitish edges to the feathers evident. White supercilium was prominent and stood out against a dark crown. No rufous observed in the upper parts, including the scapulars. Short primary projection and the primaries did not appear to reach the end of the tail. Legs were black. The bird did not associate with Western Sandpipers and was quite active, moving constantly among Least Sandpipers.Photographed. Comments welcome.
