Observation details
Hurricane irma bird. Found on dirt road on Sept. 12, 2017 exhausted. Transported to avian vet nearby after local resident from adjoining county reported bird and provided photo. UPDATE: bird successfully released on the gulf coast at St. Mark's NWR, FL on Sept. 13. Strong flight straight out to deep water.
