note early AM lighting casting a "warming" effect on colors in photo
Observation details
All observers agreed spotting above white, and certainly, much whiter than cinnamomea SOSA that I've seen within last week. The spots don't look as bright white in this pic as the bird appeared in life, probably due to early AM lighting (note appearance of buff wash on underparts)
