Observation details
Moving low in the oaks behind the picnic area at the North parking lot in Langdon. I watched it for a good 30 seconds to a minute before I tried to photograph it, but due to the camera settings and fog on the lens the one shot I got of it is questionably diagnostic. It was a fairly large warbler, very chunky in the body. The wings and tail were olive, lacking wingbars or other noticeable markings. The underside was a vibrant yellow from the vent to the chest, where it merged with the throat in diffuse streaking. The hood and throat were grey. The eye ring was complete but not too noticeable in person. Identification supported by photo review by Duncans, Callaways, and Merlin Photo ID.
