Media notes
NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 24. Bulk reel: 376. Weather: Slightly cloudy. One display. Note that this one has a much "softer" sound than most of this species. This bird apparently did not "slap" wings and although the rhythm is normal, it would seem that the wing beating is less vigorous than normal. I was on site by 5:32 AM. The first "ao" calls began ~ 5:35 AM, both by bird near path and another up the slope. But didn't call very long. The display recorded is apparently of bird near path, which seemed to go farther down the slope and then not heard again. Quality: 1-2. Level: +3. Other Behaviors: Perform Visual Display.
