NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 18. Bulk reel: 370. Weather: cloudy fair. 1 wing-whirr and then some calls, the latter by a different individual, it would seem fairly sure. For continuation of events, see Cut 15 b) of Micrastur mirandollai. Quality: 2-3. Level: +14. Parabola: yes. Another wing-whirr is heard about 1 minute later, this one at some distance. Then another, some calls, much closer again, about 1 and a half minutes after that. Note that again it appears that the bird that calls may not be the one that gave wing-whirr as it seems too close and too soon after the wing-whirr for there to have been time for it to be that bird. About 1 minute after that more calls heard. (at one place one of these sounds a bit like granti!!).
