NOTES: MORNING. SAVANNAH WITH OPEN PLAINS AND VALLEYS AND WOODED WITH ACACIA XANTHOPHLOEA. THERE IS A SHORT TIME LAPSE BETWEEN THIS CUT AND LNS 06743. THIS A SHORT SEQUENCE IN WHICH TWO BIRDS CAN BE HEARD. THE BIRDS (ONE NEARER AND ONE MORE DISTANT) Sex: 2 UNKNOWNCAN BE HEARD IN A CALL AND ANSWER SITUATION. THE NEARER BIRD GIVES BOTH CALLS OF THIS SPECIES; ONE IS THE MELODIOUS 'WHO WHO WHO' AND THE OTHER AN UNMUSICAL SOUND RATHER LIKE THAT MADE BY A YOUNG SHEEP.T.D. MASSAICUM.
