NOTES: Tape counter 254-288. Could not see the bird due to darkness and branches. Note that my tape comments express some doubt about the species; however, after listening to other Purple Finch tapes, I am certain that it is a Purple Finch. They feed regularly at our feeder and, by late July, there were 7 regular visitors including fledglings. In trees along L. Huron shoreline. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest, Deciduous Forest, Lake, Edge.
