Two song phrases. When not vocalizing, feeding young in hole in tree. Nest hole about 6 meters high. Adult(s). General Climate: Humid. Habitat: Humid tropical (wet) woods, more or less cutover. Much second growth. LNS: Subject changed from Trogon viridis to T. bairdii to reflect current taxonomy. -Matt Medler, 24 Sept 2010. Other Behaviors: Care For Young. Habitat: Forest, Second-growth.
