Observation details

There were over 50 swallows flying over Lake Providence today. While the majority are barn swallows, a few cliff shallows have been reported. I've been trying to get some images or video for a few days not but they are very hard to get images of in low light. It was raining and overcast today so not great images. I'm no swallow expert but these birds don't have the forked tail of the barn swallow and it has a white mark on its forehead along with white ring between head and wings. It also has white markings on its back as well as lighter rump.
