Observation details

Announced by frantic alarm calling from house sparrows as it began to dispatch one of their ranks on the wire outside. Observed briefly through blinds so as not to interrupt. After a few minutes it vocalized loudly, and when I went for another peek, it was gone. Mourning doves unperturbed.
