Observation details

Continuing (returning?)adult. Perched in dead tress on Hundred Acres Marsh, just under 500m away but good scope views in excellent light. Initially perched on top of a snag, then made one short flight to a lower branch 07.37 and preened for an extended period. Lovely. White underside to secondaries confirm it as a being nominate caeruleus, which is the taxon that has expanded across western Europe.
