Observation details
Spectacular male in full color, just like picture. Luminous blue face. Yellow neck. Crimson body with small ocellated white spots. After 2 days searching.Early spotting for the season apparently. First saw in switchback median, then watched sulking through dense mossy woods, and peacefully eating leaves.
