Observation details
Likely continuing from yesterday, mixing with other mergansers today. Mergansers with dull red heads. Lacking the white chin and sharp contrast between the neck and gray breast. Slimmer bill than Common Mergs, and darker backed. One individual in the photo (right) with a Common Merganser (left).
