Observation details
One bird mixed in with Dark-eyed Juncos. I saw it fly from a tree with a Junco to perch on the fence near the restroom shed. Caught a (not the best) photo before it flew away when I tried to get closer. I took it for a Field Sparrow, but Merlin Photo ID tagged it as a Chipping Sparrow. However, when I tried to upload it to eBird first as a Chipping Sparrow, then as a Field Sparrow, and finally as simply a New World Sparrow, the eBird media manager repeatedly flagged it and ID'd it as a Clay-colored Sparrow. Google ID'd it as the same. I don't mind correction on this if eBird is wrong.
