Observation details

Really good numbers; up to a dozen seen at once as others called nearby, a single solo flyover and flock of 6 seen over a mile down the road were presumably different groups. Red male posed well in a Shortleaf pine for the group before departing for the rest of the group. Crossed bill seen well. Distinctive jip jip jip calls may have been two types. Calls recorded and photos taken by some in the group.
