Observation details

*Rare. Found by Pete Fenner on Thursday, November 13th, and continuing this evening to the northwest of the overlook. A smaller loon with a more flattened head and upturned smaller and thinner bill than a Common, not rounded and small head like a Pacific Loon, bulkier neck than a Pacific, flat back, and dark patterned head and neck (no necklace like a Pacific). Distant digiscope videos taken.
