Observation details

Highlight of the trip - conservative but still absurd count. 2 birds did quick passes on way out to shelf - then stumbled upon a flock of 7! Subsequently had 2 more birds do quick passes, then at the burley point a further 2 birds appeared, doing laps of the boat every so often. On the way back we had one last pass by yet another bird! Gorgeous cookilarias with pale bellies, pale underwings and dark hoods. Photographed thoroughly by most aboard
