Observation details
Pluvialis out on the mudflats from the Refuge Rd overlook. My opinion of Golden-plover vs Black-bellied changed with the lighting since at times it appeared a bit more buffy and golden and at others pale and grayish. I also waffled a bit on beak size and facial pattern due to distance. It never showed axillaries, so best left unidentified. Could have spent a bit more time on it, but was mostly trying to pick through ducks.
