Observation details
Arrived at west end of Pebble beach adjacent to Cape Hedge beach. Windy day with many gulls (mainly HERG and GBBG) on the ground (pebbles!). Noticed small bird flying around just above beach level much like I have seen NRWS earlier in Autumn. Color seemed unusual. Also saw land on patches of sea weed (where insects gather). Speed of flight and sun angle reflecting off ocean made visual ID very difficult. Managed to get a photo (attached) suggesting is the Cave Swallow recently reported in Essex county rare bird report. Believe there were only 2 individuals.
