Observation details
Rare swallows reported shortly before by Jeremy Collison. Two birds present when I arrived they were attempting to stay warm by huddling together in the rafters under the small footbridge. As a result they were absolutely covered in cobwebs. One swallow made small flights and landed briefly on the creekside. Later, an additional two birds flew in off the lake and tried to roost on the Geneva Visitor Center building. A fifth swallow came in off the lake about an hour later and circled a couple of times. Swallows with square tails and buffy rumps.
