Observation details

Fun to hear and see this Horned Lark here today and follow it around for a bit in the fields north of the retaining ponds! Distinct calls alerted me to it flying over with pipits - larger than pipits, sandy brown upperparts, light below, dark tail, broad wings. Photos and audio captured. It ranged pretty widely but called often in flight (often doing large circles over the fields).
