Observation details
Spotted by Cindy along Hub Bailey Road. Flew across the road and perched cooperatively in the crown of a chinaberry tree on the slope of the hill. Sparrow-like, slightly larger than the Indigo Buntings it associated with. Large pale-pinkish seedeating bill, yellow supercilium, yellow malar bordered with black, white throat with blackish V beginning on lower throat and extending onto upper breast. Breast yellow, central belly yellow with some white patches. Rufous shoulders, dark braces on upper back.
