Observation details

Crazy yard bird! My wife found these two in our front yard this morning around 11:00am and she monitored them through the window blinds all day. I did not think they would still be present when I got home, but there they were, resting. According to her, they stayed in roughly the same spot all day long. We have no standing water in our yard and they did not attempt to forage. This checklist duration is from the time I saw them when I arrived home until I witness them fly off about 25 minutes later. They started moving around about 10 minutes prior to leaving. I suspect they arrived here last night and spent the day resting. Plant natives in your yard and you may get snipes too!
