Observation details
Bird first spotted by Giles (local birder?) at 8:07 AM, who kindly informed the approximately 10 other birders in the vicinity. Was observed for about 20 minutes foraging low to mid-canopy in sycamore trees at East end of the walk bridge adjacent to Salt River Avenue. Very frenetic feeding behavior as it hunted insects in the trees, hardly standing still for more than a second before moving to a different location, making photography challenging. The bird eventually worked its way about 50 yards east in the sycamore trees along Rio Grande Street where it was seen until I left at 8:50 AM. During the whole time the bird never was seen in the top canopy of the trees, always mid to low in the trees. See Photos.
