NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 8. Bulk reel: 226 *This identification is not certain; unable to see bird. a) 9/3/73. 8:05 AM. Clear. Note that some wing sounds are heard, apparently by a pigeon & therefore possibly by the mate of the singing bird. I also heard (not recorded) an in-flight wing-flap display that is typical for most pigeons; this one had a cadence similar to the "wing flap" of Crax daubentoni. Quality: 2+. Level: +2. 203 tape. LN. b) 16/3/73. 6:30 AM. Cloudy. This may be same bird as in a) although that isn't certain. Quality: 1-2. Level: 0. LN.
