Observation details
Dark juvenile. Came into the beach area and stole food from a gull. Perched briefly on the lake offering a great view through the scope. Balanced proportion bird with powerful, fast flight. Cinnamon tones to the nape area, but overall quite dark, really couldn't see any obvious barring on the upper or under coverts.
