surprised to see bird near carpark landed on sign for approximately 3 minutes giving 1 note calls occasionally, bird then flew north toward estuary unable to relocate, black and white pied bird with long tail, white belly white shoulder white edge seen on wing tip while perched, rest black with iridescent blueish purple sheen tinged with green on black area of wing, initially though it to be eurasian, will add pictures
