NOTES: No. songs: l l l l l / l l l l l l l l / l l l / l l l l l l l / 1.15 2.32 3.08 4.05 Also: Vesper sp. or savannah sp.(?) chipping and wing flutter, sav. sp. song, dog bark distant, another Baird's sp. w. mdlk. Q 2, 2-3BNA: Song is heard. CZ 28/05/2004.[Twenty-one examples of a song-type somewhat unlike any of those pictured in BNA account (but same as LNS #64222, 64223, 64224, and 64225 recorded at same site on same and previous days). I cannot say with certainty that the chip notes given in the first part of this recording were not given by this species, but the data accompanying the recording suggests that another species was involved. Quality added (2-3, 2-1 - assuming that the chipping in the first part was NOT given by A. bairdii - BEST songs between 1:48 and 2:44) - CAM - 15 March 2005].

Background Species

Savannah Sparrow - Passerculus sandwichensis
Western Meadowlark - Sturnella neglecta
