Media notes
Several birds performing aerially. At least 4 different types of sounds. Also sound from ground? "kok kok kok". From 2:54 to end of important sounds of Solitary Sandpiper. Background: traffic and aircraft. This cut contains both "Chip" and "Chipper" Calls in addition to "Winnows", all by multiple birds overlapping one another (In addition to the calls of Tringa solitaria). Quality unchanged (2, 3 - the calls of the Tringa are highlighted in the latter part of this recording, so the calls of Gallinago are effectively relegated to the background) - CAM - 14 December 2004 Re-edited, last few minutes focused on Solitary Sandpiper removed and split to ML237666. Jay McGowan, 14Feb2019.
