Observation details

Juvenile bserved for 10 minutes as close as 10 m in good light with Zeiss 10x40s. Photos. Significantly larger than adjacent LESA. Elongated shape, wings projecting well beyond tail, flattened body. Short straight black bill, black legs. Scaly buff pattern above, upper breast buff with streaks, remainder of underparts unmarked white.
