Observation details
Originally found by Matt Medler. Bird circled mud flat in front of me then landed. When I first observed it in the air I thought swallow because of its size. Saw the white rump as it landed. It was alone and didn’t associate with other peeps. Overall “white” look to the bird stood out in the wetland and differentiated it from the leasts and the pecks. Landed alert with a tall posture. White eyebrow prominent. Viewed through scope. Long primary projections observed. Digi-scope pics.
