NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 12. Bulk reel: 219Weather: Clear, fair.a) 6:29 - A quiet purr call, probably by female still in nest but perhaps by male. Then some "bother song" (alarm, conflict?) by male; after the first part of this the female emerged from nest and after the second part another quiet purr call is heard, probably by female now out of nest. Then some "chuckle" calls (modified rally calls?) as female ran up to meet male and then greeting vocalizations. (See separate notes.)Quality: 3+, Level: 0. Nagra SN, AKG mic. No parabola. Then, after a minute or so (single) bird down slope sang again, then the pair (down slope), then the nesting (pair), then the single bird (down slope).
