Observation details
Initially identified as the continuing Alder Flycatcher, but upon reviewing photos, appears to be a Wood-Pewee. Dark upper and lower mandibles, long PP (giving the wings a "droopier" look), rusty wing bars, and nearly "vested" appearance of the smudged gray flanks all differ from the characteristics of the Alder Flycatcher that was initially found. In the days following, both flycatchers continued and were observed simultaneously by a few of us. Ben Lagasse managed good photos of both birds in the same frame.
