NOTES: Neotropical Institute Cut # 3. Bulk reel: 209. Weather: fair. Notes: I believe this is a different pair from those of Cut 2), altho it may be same as Cut 2b) or 2c). Quality: 1. Level: 0. A few minutes before I started recording, a bird flew from East side of road to west side and very shortly one bird (probably the same) started singing alone. It san with the lower voice. Soon it was joined by the bird with the higher voice. After singing together for a while they both flew back to East side of road. There, after playing back their song they came out into view. The bird that was moving along first was collected and proved to be a female. *Perhaps* the first bird was the male who went to "wake" the female where she was sleeping, or perhaps on her nest (she had an incubation patch).
