Observation details
Exact count. Flying high above town with VGSW for comparison. Unmistakable all-black large swift with stocky body and swept-back wings. Several birds flying with open tails as they foraged and fed. Wondered if I could find this species here after reviewing historical nesting records. New county bird for me.
