Observation details
Continuing bird found this morning by Stephen Brenner. Incredibly short (hard to find among gulls) tern in basic plumage with a short dark bill, gray body, faintly darker carpal bar, and dark tips of gray primaries. In flight, appeared very chunky with a small rounded head, not elongated like COTE and FOTE. Found resting on the sandbar just south of the lighthouse among other gulls and terns. Life #522, Nebraska #349, Year #333!
