Observation details

Presumably the birds discovered by Graham Norman yesterday morning. Distinctly shaped shorebirds with narrow necks, small head, plump bodies, beige and black plumage above contrasted with a clean white belly; relatively short legs (yellow); yellow bill; large black eye stands out against the whitish face in the small head. Under heat stress: gullating heavily. Observed from the small retention pond; approximately standing here: 34°06'18.3"N 80°33'09.7"W.
