Two successive cuts of Saxaul Sparrows calling from atop an abandoned rock wall as the wind increases near the riverine dunes. Background includes: Pallas's Sandgrouse calling as they fly overhead and a singing Desert Wheatear. Recorded with a Zoom-F3, using a Sennheiser ME67 and foam windscreen.

Observation details

known nesting spot in rock wall near riverine dunes; a lifer for all!
