Observation details
One singing (but not seen) at first turn. The other two (likely more) halfway down to fork, calling, seen very well in mist and rain. When we first arrived at 9am, little activity on the road (and all the thrushes on the top seemed to be Swainson's), but on a second trip down the road about 10-1030am, it was much more active. Primarily giving calls rather than songs, but some singing still happening. Likely have nests? All occurred in very dense balsam fir stands on steep slopes. Had been told about this location 10 years ago but only got to it now because we couldn't bring our dog.
