NOTES: (Distance to Sound Source: 100s m? Bkground Sounds: (in fact, foreground): Gallinago paraguaiae (single notes in series, given from ground). Species Sound: Infrequent, frequent. Breeding Status: Breeding?) Sounds like "ooo-eeyow, ooo-eeyow, ooo-eeyow", hoarse and "breathy" and distant. This is flight song or "winnowing" or "rodiong" of Gallinago undulata. Same sound is occasionally audible in background of LNS cat ## 63807 and 63808. Cf my recordings LNS 68400: same locality, Aug. 1993. [LNS copies high-pass filtered @120 Hz (wind).]. Habitat: Wetland, Meadow.
