NOTES: adults Also: reflector, wind Recorded by Darryl Dahmer - give credit to NMC vocalizations at .10 and .55 sec are Sanderlings' chase note. I suspect the whole tape is of Sanderlings; the center portion being territorial vocalizations - possibly aggressive interactions between 2-3 birds Q 3 HPF@100Hz [It is unclear which vocalizations these represent (based on BNA account), but they appear to be mostly contact calls of some sort (possibly including the low "chert, chert" calls said to be given aggressively by males to females), but also with two examples of what appear to be "Pursuit Flights" (0:18 and 0:57).
